Michael Brown

I’m a writer that enjoys a good story that takes me to places away from reality, born in West Philly raise in Chester pa.

As adolescent I imagined a world better than the one I was living in. Humor made poverty a sitcom for all to enjoy and educate at the same time. I was never one to be stagnated in any position in my mind of storytelling. I go in different directions from comedy, thriller, suspense, horror and self-motivation. We are more than mediocrity. There is a piece of me in every story I write and create. I’m a person who sees the world through the lens of the forgotten, striving to be more than they were yesterday. I was taught to learn from your faults, from your mistakes and that set the tone for success.

I decided the best thing for myself and everyone around me was to start taking care of myself. To get an idea of what needs to be done. I needed to know where I was starting and where I wanted to go. Surrounding myself with leaders who care about their lives and those around them is a recipe for your success. It’s important to learn from the people you look up to, for me that’s Eric Thomas, David Goggins and the less Browns of the world. It’s more than motivation; it’s the strategy of changing the mind to take you to a world you only can imagine. I was spinning in circles standing behind other people’s podiums not realizing that the best, the ones not easily broken, stand behind their own podium. Because everything that was put into making the podium is your blood, sweat and tears. You must own your pain and experience. Once I embrace my burdens that have for so long kept me in the dark, I came out of that darkroom with the mentality and intelligence to truly understand God’s grace.
